Building an early-stage startup often means living in the messy, unglamorous middle: testing, refining, pivoting – sometimes all in the same day.
But every so often, you get a moment to pause, look up, and see how far you’ve come.
For us at Aidx, 2025 has already brought a few of those moments and we’re only halfway through the year!
AI of the Year — two years in a row
We’re incredibly proud that Aidx was named AI of the Year at the South West Startup Awards 2025 for the second consecutive year with the UK Startup Awards.
This award recognises not just our AI tech, but the mission driving it:
Helping people reconnect with themselves, improve mental wellbeing, and supporting conscious leadership at scale, through an ethical, human-centred approach to AI.
Our wonderful friend and collaborator Alisa stepped in to represent us in Bristol, (we were celebrating our son’s 1st birthday in Greece) picking up the award and launching our new B2B pilot in person; bringing Aidx into organisations looking for fresh, accessible ways to support their teams.
It’s a reminder that the work keeps moving forward, even when the founders take a moment to breathe. And that behind every “win,” there’s a team (and a lot of quiet building) making it possible.
What’s next? More recognition, more momentum
Winning regionally means Aidx is now through to the National Startup Awards final, held this September at the Ideas Festival and we can’t wait to reconnect with fellow founders and innovators there.
We’re also excited to share that Aidx is shortlisted for AI Entrepreneur of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2025 – recognising the entrepreneurial spirit it takes to build new, meaningful solutions in AI.
Awards aren’t the reason we build, but they do matter.
They remind us, our partners, and our users that what we’re doing isn’t just an idea; it’s making an impact, and it’s being recognised.
They help build trust with organisations thinking about using AI in a more human, ethical way.
They show that even small, early-stage teams can make a difference and that progress often looks quieter and slower from the inside than it does on the outside.
